So I decided to throw a back to school party for all of my nieces and nephews this weekend and even though I am not very organized (okay I am a mess when it comes to planning things) I think it turned out pretty good. I had a lot of fun and I hope the kids did as well. Sorry this is so long I just couldn't not post all of these cute pictures. (Sorry for the quality I took all the pictures with my cell phone)

A Fun Weekend w/ The Family

This past weekend I finally got down to see my family. They are only about an hour away but it seems like everytime I plan to go down something comes up. We had a great time I took my mom out for ice cream and went to the park with my sister and her daughter and we just hung out all day talking and sleeping. The next day we went to the Miller Motorsports Park out in Tooele to watch the car race. It was so awesome, I have never been to a race before and I want to go back ASAP. I went with my parents and a couple of my nephews and of course little Doodles had to come. We were sweating to death but it was well worth it to listen to the engines on those Ferraris rumble past us.

I was surprised that I actually got a picture, the cars were zooming by so fast and all I had was my dinky little cell phone camera. That is Doodles and I with my new Lotus. Okay, that was a joke but I can dream right? The Black car in the photo spun off the track right in front of us on the 40th lap. Needless to say the driver did not look very happy he sat there for like 10 minutes before he got out and the safety crew pulled his car to the side.

Okay these are not the best pictures of me but my nephews are so cute! Their mom is in big trouble when they get old enough to date.

Janise was in town last weekend for a friends wedding so we got together for dinner with Erin. In high school we would skip school one day @ the end of March and the three of us would go out to lunch and go shopping for our birthdays. We thought it would be fun to start that up again. We went to the Old Spagetti Factory @ Trolly Square and wandered through some of the shops there. It was so good to see them again, I always love hanging out with those cute girls!

What Makes Me Happy?

I stole this cute idea from Hannahs blog. This is a list of my favorite things. Sometimes I need to be reminded of all the wonderful things I have in my life.

• afternoon naps on the couch.
• driving in the car with the windows down on a warm summer night with some good oldies music bouncing out of the speakers.
• playing board games with family and friends.
• playing video games with Jordan even though he always wins and never lets me forget it.
• learning new things.
• when Jordan makes me laugh.
• dancing around to the Bee Gees and ABBA in the front room with my little nieces and nephews.
• the beach. I hate going in the ocean but I love sitting on the beach.
• watching a super funny show that makes me laugh 'til my stomache hurts.
• singing in the car as loud as I can (window up of course).
• scrapbooking.
• vacation.
• sitting in the park.
• finishing a project that has been nagging at me.
• my moms cooking especially her warm homemade bread.
• the giant hugs my dad gives me when I am upset.
• yard work.
• sitting and talking with a good friend about nothing for hours.

Okay, so my oldest sister Veronica just got married and I am so happy for her! Here is a picture of her, my other sister Amanda and I on her wedding day.  Congratulations Veronica and Tom  I love you two so much!

Here is one of their first family pictures.  I am pretty sure she is crazy or at least will be in a year or two!  9 kids right 5 hers and 4 his but guess what...........surprise!  Guess who is pregnant!  Thats right in like 8 months there will be 10 kids.  At least they are all cute.
